Water Gardens supports local children in becoming literate.
The PTA or PTSA or library organizes a literacy reading curriculum customized to the needs and abilities of each grade and student.
As the student completes a reading goal, the teacher presents the student with a signed certificate for one free admission to the Water Gardens.
The student may earn more than one certificate by completing additional reading goals that the parent and teacher agree upon.
The certificates may be used by the student alone, or the student may use multiple certificates to bring family members to the movies as well.
The certificate is designed by the PTA and the literacy program is discussed/approved with Water Gardens prior to beginning each year.
Literacy programs can be earned during the school year which begins each Fall.
The students benefit by improving their reading and literacy skills.
The PTA benefits by using cost-free incentives to promote educational goals and objectives. The Water Gardens benefits by growing and supporting its core customer base.
